2 Crystals

The Crystals are alien stones that fell from the sky during the Big Blend. They are said to be the cause of the systematic teleportations the Earth underwent during a period of five years.

As far as we know, there are 92 Great Crystals above sea level on Earth, as well as 76 under water.

Crystals cause different phenomenons depending on their location, color, environment.

Crystals’ particles are the cause of the appearance of superpowers and quirks in living beings, as well as the creation of new species, mini-climates, migrating islands, etc.

Most of spells make use of several kinds of crystal particles.

The most spread-out types of Crystal, in order, are the yellow (20%), the green (18%), the white (13%), the orange (13%), the purple (12%), the cyan (12%), the black (11%), the red (0.7%), and the blue (0.3%).

• Red: sensible to other energies, can be used to convey information about surrounding energies, analyze them, and add certain conditions to spells. Those red-based spells can be naturally created or human-made.

• Blue: the rarest kind of crystals. Little is known about their true nature. They almost always intensify the actions of surrounding crystals. Powers with a high blue energy content tend to be very potent.

• Cyan: Mind powers: emotional manipulators, memory manipulators, etc. Spiritual bonds: such as necro-bonds, bonds between animals, plants, spells. Mind disturbance: berserkism, traumas, cronic fear, apathy, memory loss, etc. Cyan crystals can affect environment and nature: empathic trees like sentient trees or home trees, negative/positive mood environments. It can affect other crystals too. Cyan crystals provided an essential clue to prove Crystals have some kind of intelligence.

• Yellow: transformation on materials. They are the main cause of the appearance of the different human variants after the Big Blend: merfolk, foxfolks, four-armed humans, etc. Powers that transform the skin, hardening it for example, are caused by yellow crystals. The Yellow Great Crystals have generally deep roots that cause irregular earthquakes, and nature transformation: invisible trees, flesh trees, mirror trees, steeled soil, etc. Yellow crystals are the most used source of energy in the world.

• Green: Temperature changes. Depending on the surrounding composition, a green crystal will increase or decrease the temperature. The Rain Crystal near Ulaanbatar in the Amazonian rainforest is an amalgama of green crystals and cyan crystals (which result in a rainy area with phenomenons such as tree intelligence)

• Violet (or purple): spacial warp, swapping, slow-pace, teleportation. Purple crystals are spread all over the world, and are the main cause of the systematic teleportations during the Big Blend. Nowadays, they can still teleport people without warning and are the cause of the Wandering Curse and the Spirited-Away people. Wanderers are people with a high concentration of purple crystals in their body, subject to unwanted and more or less periodical teleportations. 23% of the Wanderers are from the Purple Country, which has the highest levels of purple crystal in the world. Purple crystals are also used as a source of energy, as a restricted way of controlled teleportation, and in various fields of crafting.

• Orange: Forces. Phenomenons and powers: telekinesis, wind forces, flying, gravity, magnetism. Orange crystals cause gravitism and other force-related diseases or curses.

• Black: black energy is the base of deathforce and dark qi control. It can change the nature of the energies it encounters. It is known as the reverse energy, regressive energy, or even more subjectively, the evil energy. Some crystalontologists say black energy is a balance bringer, since it gets on the way of the other energies to bring balance to the world. Controlling black energy requires a lot of practice and knowledge. Necromancy uses black energies to manipulate deathforce, build cores, preserve souls, regenerate necro-cells, or encompass other crystals.

• White: Souls of most living beings are made of white energy. It generates lifeforce, the base of qi, and can regenerate and create living cells and light. A necro-core is able to change lifeforce into deathforce.
